Why I Started Dad’s Bees Blog

As a Florida beekeeper, I created Dad’s Bees to share my personal journey and experiences with beekeeping in the Sunshine State. I wanted to provide valuable insights into the world of honey production, hive management, and the unique challenges and opportunities that come with beekeeping in Florida’s diverse environment.

Through this blog, I aim to educate fellow beekeepers—whether they’re beginners or experienced—by offering practical advice, tips on maintaining healthy hives, and stories that reflect the realities of local beekeeping. My goal is to build a community where Florida beekeepers can connect, learn, and grow together, while also celebrating the sweetness and wonders of honey production in our beautiful state.

Our Journey

I am the owner and operator of A2Bee LLC, a beekeeping business that started as a hobby and has evolved into a full-fledged operation. This blog, part of A2Bee LLC, serves as a platform where I share my journey from hobbyist to business owner. Through this blog, I offer high-quality honey, beekeeping supplies, and educational content, with the goal of supporting fellow beekeepers.

What began as a passion for gardening led me to discover the vital role bees play in pollinating plants. As I grew more interested in how bees contributed to my garden’s success, I dove into studying beekeeping. A year ago, I turned this hobby into a full-fledged business, founding A2Bee LLC. Now, I’m not only managing hives and harvesting honey, but I’m also dedicated to providing education and outreach to help others become beekeepers. Through A2Bee LLC, I share our honey and hand-selected products with the world, while supporting others on their own beekeeping journeys.
